Each type is suitable for different hair types and styling purposes.
Water-based hair products (i.e. gels, mousses and foams)
They tend to dry slowly and coat the hair as it dries, becomes sticky and making it easier to style.
Gel-based hair products
They are thick water-based styling products that are good for increasing hair stiffness and provide a texturized look.
Wax-based hair products
It is different from water based products as it do not dry even though enables you to create the same thick, defined piecey look as with gels. This enable you to fix and restyle your hair throughout the day just by running your fingers through your hair.
