Min. 8 glasses of water a day, everyday. Water is essential for carrying waste materials out of our body so drinking water is good to promotes clean skin and overall health.
Appropriate skin care routine. Use skin care products that contain antibacterial proerpties, are oil free and provide a good oil control.
Minimise make-up usage. Applyign make-up over blemishes may worsen the condition. So save make-up for very special occasions and remember to remove it clean right after it before washing your face. But if you want to conceal blemishes, use an antibacterial, oil free concealer as it can reduce the redness of the blemishes.
Do not over cleanse your face. Excessive cleansing can worsen the existing face problems and will attract new breakouts. So it is the best to only cleanse your face twice a day.
Do not pick your pimples nor touch your face unncecessarily. By doing so, it will keep the bacteria spreading and that casue pimples. Resist the urge to burst of pick at blemishes when the glands seems to pop up. Popping your pimples can cause infections and even scarring.
Moisturise is a must. Many people think that oily skin need not moisturise which is wrong. Even oily/blemished skin needs a suitable moisturiser to help hydrate and seal in moisture.
